With five interactive installations, PONG.Li was involved in the large special exhibition Maya - The Riddle of the Royal Cities in the Historical Museum of the Palatinate Speyer. In Uxul, an augmented reality app, the historical Mayan settlement of Uxul with its temple sites, marketplaces and rural farmsteads could be explored via a floor graphic. Using the exhibition iPads, the visitors themselves embarked on a journey through time by scanning the hieroglyphs hidden in the floor graphics and gaining exciting insights into Mayan culture. In addition to Uxul, PONG.Li also designed the children's app Explore Uxul with Ixchel!, the Hieroglyph Game, the Maya Calendar and an interactive double projection to depict the social Maya networks for the Speyer Museum.
